Some juicy speculation hits Spike Chunsoft this week as keen eyed folks noticed the the company put up a job listing on the 13th. While there’s no specific game title, it states that it will be related to its popular Danganronpa series along with the PS4, Vita, etc. as platforms. This is further elaborated upon that the prospective platform and scope of the job may change. The company is looking for an artist that specializes in character modeling and texture creation who knows their way around Autodesk Maya, Pixologic’s ZBrush, and Adobe Photoshop (pretty common programs for that field).
The listing boasts Spike Chunsoft’s staff of 200 employees who work in a “easy atmosphere” with the freedom to “communicate honestly”, along with general bonuses like 7-days maternity leave for spouses. A special tidbit on the listing is that the game’s genre will be an Action title, so that can be interpreted in a number of ways. The series has already dabbled in the 3rd-person shooter genre before through its PS Vita entry, Ultra Despair Girls. The Danganronpa franchise celebrates its 7th Anniversary this month with several games and animated series.
